The NAACP has founded on February 12th, 1909 it is the oldest, most widely recognized and largest civil rights organization. It was founded after the deadly race riot that took place in the city of Springfield in 1908. Because of this event, a group of white liberals issued a call to talk about racial justice about 60 different people signed the call for change.
