N the 1600s, the Dutch West India Company was more powerful and
successful than Microsoft, IBM, or General Motors today. The Company's
thousands of employees had one primary goal: to make money. Investors in
the Dutch West India Company were fortunate. Its annual profits went as
high as 200 or 300 percent. (In comparison, a strong stock today might
return yearly profits of 20 or 30 percent.) In the pursuit of profits,
the Company traded commodities such as spices, sugar, fur, and slaves.
It also fought battles against Spain to gain new territory.
The Dutch West India Company was an offshoot of the Dutch East India
Company, which funded Henry Hudson's voyage to North America in 1609. If
Hudson could find a secret shortcut to Asia, the Company would make
even more profits.
Although
Hudson failed at this mission, his dazzling reports of fur trading
opportunities inspired merchants. About fifteen years later, the Company
sent over some thirty families as colonists and workers. They called
the new colony "New Amsterdam." Later renamed New York, it would grow
into one of the greatest cities in the world.

Cherry Picking: Say you want to get a poll. Don't go to an area where there is a majority of the working class. You wan't to go to areas that are high on welfare, stock brokers, corporate etc. You can best find these in big cities like New York, Orlando, so on. That way, when people see the polls, they will look at what are demographic is, giving them the sense that we are popular party.
Fabrication: Don't worry about the legitimacy. Most people just want some sort of facts or explanation, and if we make one up that it is believable for most people, we are good. So long as they don't look at the actual ice caps and the temperature around the world, as far as they know Global Warming is a thing, *cough* I mean, sorry not Global Warming, Climate Change, it's totally different *wink, wink*.
Censorship: So long as no one sees any contradicting evidence to our polls, they are good. Same thing with Climate Change. If however something does come up we need to treat is as if it is absurd. Conspiracy theorist! But even then we need to make sure that it stays away from public eye, and public opinion.

Mauryan Empire is the world’s largest empire in the Indian subcontinent. Civil services during the period of Mauryas were unfathomable. Single currency enabled local and international trade possible. Ashoka was also a famous Mauryan empire who relinquished his kingdom and followed the path of Buddhism. He was also involved in building extensive public utility buildings and introduced many schemes which were for the upliftment of the people.
