Select the correct answer.
lawyer [7]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

This answer is clear when you answer the text a little bit. The lines "Like a cloistress she will veiled walk, and water once a day her chamber round" implies that she will be walking around her chamber (room) and cry. It is also made clear that this is because of her brother's death, by the line "A brother's dead love, which she would keep fresh... And lasting in her sad rememberance". Hope this helps!

How can education be used to create change?
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

Education is a vital way that change can be implemented into the world, as the most profound changes start simply with the younger generations. They are the future leaders, politicians, doctors, teachers, and producers that will grow to shape this world. But how do they get there? With education! It is the job of educators to give the younger generation the skills and ideas they need to change the planet. Education trains the future workforce and in turn has a major grasp on how the world functions.

20. When a novelist uses an allusion in her story, she encourages readers to ask questions about the novel’s themes and characte
NikAS [45]

Answer:

Provides clues about how the novels conflicts will be resolved

Explanation:

"Allusion is a figure of speech, in which an object or circumstance from unrelated context is referred to covertly or indirectly. It is left to the audience to make the direct connection. Where the connection is directly and explicitly stated (as opposed to indirectly implied) by the author, it is instead usually termed a reference. In the arts, a literary allusion puts the alluded text in a new context under which it assumes new meanings and denotations. It is not possible to predetermine the nature of all the new meanings and inter-textual patterns that an allusion will generate. Literary allusion is closely related to parody and pastiche, which are also "text-linking" literary devices."

Which response best explains how the authors of queen of the falls and where is Niagara falls view Annie Taylor's efforts to pre
velikii [3]

The authors of both texts acknowledge Annie Taylor's efforts to build her own barrel and have the courage to use it.

We can arrive at this answer because:

  • Annie Taylor was a woman who decided to jump into Niagara Falls into a barrel.
  • She did it and survived. Furthermore, the barrel was not destroyed, which shows that it was a very well built barrel.
  • This event drew a lot of attention from the American media and many people watched Annie's jump.

In "Queen of the Falls" and "Where is Niagara falls?" we can see that the authors claim that the media attention Annie received was the result of her manager's work, but the construction of the barrel was a feat made by Annie herself.
