Answer: blithely dismissive

Daisy is a wealthy, young American girl who travels around Europe with her mother and younger brother. Daisy is sweet, but she is also extremely naive and provincial. She likes to flirt and meet men, however, as she has no grace, charm or wit, her attempts are often obvious and vulgar. Eventually, rumours begin to be spread about her, as it is obvious that she is interested only in manipulating men. However, she does not seem to be bothered by the scandals, although it is not clear to the reader whether this is because she is confident, or because she is extremely naive.

Which sentence correctly uses possessive form?
babunello [35]
The correct answer is
D. I really don't like that sweater very much because its rough fabric makes my skin itch.

If you are using the contraction it's, know that it means it is, which doesn't make sense in this sentence.

Also, in this specific sentence there shouldn't be an apostrophe in the verb makes.

Hope this helps! :)
