Article I of the Constitution outlines the structure of the legislative branch of government.

Further Explanations:

The legislative branch is being established by Article I of the constitution. It decides the composition and power of the legislative branch. It grants it with various power and restriction on the legislation. Enumerated power and “necessary and proper clause” granted to the legislative branch allows it to implement many actions without any hindrance. It also defines the procedure of passing a bill and implementing it into any law.

The United States Legislature is divided into the Upper Chamber and the lower chamber as the House of Representatives and a Senate. The article also decided the composition and power of the “Senate” and the “House of Representatives”. The Senate is granted with the authority to advise House of Representatives in numerous issues such as approval of treatise and appointment of Cabinet Secretaries, regulatory officers, ambassadors, executive officials, flag officers and Justices of Supreme Court

Though more power is granted to Senate but the House is more popular, as the representatives of the House are the elected member and thus is more influential than Senate.

How does this quotation express the idea of a “Lost Generation”?
maks197457 [2]

The correct answer is It expresses a hopelessness about life.

Gertrude Stein, who invented this term, used it to name a group of artists who were in France in the final years of the First World War, using the country as a refuge for their creative manifestations, philosophical discussions and literary creations. The Lost Generation became popular in a Hemingway novel called The Sun Also Rises and in his memoir, A Moveable Feast.

Although formed by several artists, the group was best known for the literary works that it produced in the period. On the list of famous authors of the Lost Generation are T. S. Eliot, John Dos Passos, Waldo Peirce, Sherwood Anderson, Ezra Pound, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. In addition to them, another personality mentioned as part of this generation is James Joyce, who has his novel Ulysses as one of the most important at this time. Within this generation, there is a lot of influence of jazz on literary compositions, as this musical style was emerging in the United States and influencing other countries.
