A sob story is one that is supposed to tug at your heartstrings. It's goal is to overflow with saddened emotions. It's goal could even be to get you to shed a few tears. The overall "goal" is to make the reader feel totally immersed into the sad story. To completely feel all of the sad emotion.

Why is concession the most powerful tool of logos?
leva [86]
Logos is an appeal to logic and is a way of persuading by reason. Concession is useful because sometimes to win you need all the assets in the room, and one of the best resources comes straight from the others mouth. It allows room for your opponents ideas and audiences beliefs. You're bridging truths to get to your point.
