Consider the following argument: If George Washington was beheaded, then George Washington died. George Washington died. Therefo
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

While it's true that if George Washington is beheaded, he dies (cutting someone's head off is obviously a deadly injury), it's not necessarily true that if he dies, it was because he was beheaded, because George Washington did not necessarily die from beheading, he could have died from other causes.

Do people living in the U.S. today believe in nationalism or sectionalism? Explain..
geniusboy [140]

Answer: Nationalism

Explanation:

" Nationalism in the United States is a tricky issue which has come to the forefront in recent years. Nationalism, which is a political system that puts one’s nation above all others, should be separated from patriotism, particularly as nationalism is often driven more by racial and ethnic superiority than a love of country. While patriotism can be seen in 63 percent of Americans reporting being either extremely or very proud to be an American, it should also be noted that 55 percent of people felt that white nationalism posed a very or somewhat serious threat to the U.S. Nationalism can be seen in many aspects of America today, from politics to the economy to right-wing extremism."

What was the cotton gin? How did it have a negative impact rather than positive?
kobusy [5.1K]
It could clean then produce cotton tenfold the time it would take a normal human. It had a negative impact because since it would clean cotton so fast many plantation owners bought more cotton (the more the cotton the more the money). But more cotton requires more harvesters so these plantation owners also would buy more slaves. This of course was not good since this commenced through out the whole country causing a massive spike of slaves to be purchased. If you have any more questions just ask :)
