Hello! The correct answer is:

<em>D. "Mommy wasn't even approachable on the subject of her son..."</em>

Why? Well simply because this answer proves that the mother is aware of her son's condition. While it may be true she doesn't want to talk about it, this acknowledges that she is aware of what it is.

(I also took the quiz myself and I know that this is the answer.)

Is the fox stared an example of personification?
Paha777 [63]
No, it isn't. personification is giving human traits to non-humans. Foxes can already stare, but if you said "the fox spoke", that would be an example of personification.
