Answer:

The informal nickname of Oklahoma is The Sooner State because in 1889, the Indian territory was opened to settlers, and the lands were awarded to those who first arrived. There were those who broke the rules and crossed the border into the territory earlier than allowed. These people were called sooners.

Negotiations to convert the territory into a state began in the early twentieth century, when all tribal jurisdictions in Indian Territory were abolished. Initially, attempts to create an Indian state with the name of Oklahoma, and a subsequent attempt to create an Indian state called Sequoyah, did not prosper.

However, at the Sequoyah State Convention of 1905, the foundations were laid for the Oklahoma State Convention, which took place two years later. On November 16, 1907, Oklahoma was established as the 46th state of the Union.

After increasing for many decades, there has been a trend of decreasing voter turnout in most established democracies since the 1980s. In general, low turnout is attributed to disillusionment, indifference, or a sense of futility (the perception that one's vote won't make any difference).

This belief is based on an object that was discovered only a century ago. It has already earned a place alongside the Rosetta Stone as one of the most important artifacts of the ancient world. This stela (stone pillar) bears the inscription of the Code of Hammurabi, and it has shed light on the laws, culture and life in Babylonia.

What would of happened if the constitution never got signed?
creativ13 [48]
If the Constitution had not been ratified the United States would not be the way it is now. Our rights that we have today are protected by the Constitution and if it had not been ratified we could not have been guaranteed the life that we have now (which most people around the globe wish to have.) The Constitution is a major part of U.S history and if it were not ratified the history of this country would have changed completely. Congress would have been working for the governments best interest and not the citizens' best interest. I also think that if the Constitution was never ratified, the U.S would have split into two separate nations- North and South. The North would have continued in the industry world while the South would have chosen the world of agriculture.
