You are planning an experiment to find out which detergent is the best at removing grass stains from cotton fabric. Think about
how you might do this experiment and what kinds of variables are involved. Make a list of two variables that would be a part of the experimental system and two variables that would not be a part of this system.
Since this type of scientific method will utilize experimentation, the two varibles that would be part of the procedure is the different detergents, thus can specifically be the content, amount and acting agent as the covariables of the independent variable, detergents. And the other is the cotton fabric as the dependent variable.
The two varibles that aren't involve is the color of the cotton fabric since the experiment has not specified any but clearly specifies cotton fabric and the other will be other types of fabric.
It is significant because a prominent leader was suggesting that the unequal treatment of African Americans was in direct opposition to the principles of the Declaration of Independence.
