Answer:

Adam

Explanation:

Noah: 8 feet per second

Jessica: 358 feet / 34 seconds = 10.53 feet / second (just divide the feet / seconds.

Adam:

1 mile = 5280 feet

Adam runs 5280 / 444 seconds = 11.89 feet per second

Liz:

1 minute = 60 second.

Liz runs 592 feet / 60 seconds = 9.87 feet / second

Answer: Adam

Answer: Adam

Explanation: Here we just need to find the speed of each runner in a single unit of expression to compare them.

we know, Speed = \frac{Distance}{time}

For,

<u>Noah:</u>

Distance= 8 feet

time= 1 sec.

∴ speed = 8 fps

<u>Jessica:</u>

Distance= 358 feet

time= 34 sec.

∴ speed = \frac{358}{34} = 10.5294 fps

<u>Adam:</u>

Distance= 1 mile = 5280 feet

time= 444 sec.

∴ speed = \frac{5280}{444} = 11.892 fps

<u>Liz:</u>

Distance= 592 feet

time= 1 min. = 60 sec.

∴ speed = \frac{592}{60} = 9.867 fps

<em>From the above results we find that  Adam is the fastest runner.</em>

Answer: The last choice, Gravitational Pull would become weaker and weight would decrease because when out of Earth's atmosphere, objects (also animals & humans) are able to float because there isn't really a gravitational pull, and because there isn't a gravitational pull, the weight changes and it is less than it was before. But mass never changes.
