The precedent of Judicial Review enables the Supreme Court to deem acts of the President and of Congress unconstitutional. This is based upon interpretations of the Constitution and is based on the principle of the separation of powers.

The British parliament believed in the taxation process. Taxes were imposed on and necessity goods. Slowly it hijacked the market and the distribution of income was not equal in the society.
