Answer:

The answer is 3.488

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets start from right to left.

we cant do 6-8 so we borrow from the place to the right which turns the 7 into a 6 and the 6 into a 16. 16 minus 8 is 8. Next 6-8 again (The seven is no more.) We already know we cant do dat soooo we borrow from the tenths place. The 1 is now a 0 and the 6 is now a 16. 16 minus 8 is 8. Next is 0-6 (No more 1 because we borrowed from the tenths place.) we cant do 0-6 so we have to borrow from the ones place. Make the 6 a 5 and make the 0 a ten. 10-6 is 4. So far we got 488 but make sure to add a decimal point in front of it. Always bring down the decimal point. so its now (.488) lastly 5- 2 is 3 so the answer is 3.488

Solve x2 + 4x + 1 = 0.
docker41 [41]

Answer: Option C (x=-2±\sqrt{3})

Step-by-step explanation:

1. To solve this problem you must use the Quadratic formula, which is used to solve quadratic equation. This formula is shown below:

x=\frac{-b+/-\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}

2. Substitute values. Then, you have:

a=1\\b=4\\c=1

 x=\frac{-4+/-\sqrt{4^{2}-4(1)(1)}}{2(1)}

3. Then,you obtain the following result:

x=-2±\sqrt{3}

PLSSS HELP!! For the given ordered pairs, write a function rule relating x and y. (1,4), (2,9), (3,16), (4,25)
LenKa [72]

Answer:

y=(x+1)^2

Step-by-step explanation:

we have the following

x=1;y=4\\\\x=2;y=9\\\\x=3;y=16\\\\x=4;y=25

the values of y are squares so we can write

x=1;y=2^{2} \\\\x=2;y=3^2\\\\x=3;y=4^2\\\\x=4;y=5^2

so as you can see when

x=n;y=(n+1)^2

so our relation is

y=(x+1)^2

actually no.

Step-by-step explanation:

I assume you know the 4 inequalites:

The 4 Inequalities

>          greater than        x+3 > 2

<             less than         7x < 28

≥ greater than or equal to 5 ≥ x−1
