Answer:

The second term is 4.5

Step-by-step explanation:

An artithmetic sequence is defined as:

An= A1+(n-1) d

Where n is the nth term of the sequence and d is the common difference between terms. We have a1 and d can be found using the fifth term (n=5) like this:

An = A1+(n-1)d

A5 = A1+(5-1)d=A1+4d

D= (A5-A1)/4 = (6-4)/4= 2/4= ½ =0.5

We replace d in the equation for the second term n= 2

A2= a1+(2-1)0.5 = 4+0.5 = 4.5

Since it's arithmetic we are adding the same number each time.

4,    ____,  ____, _____,  6
t1,     t2,        t3,      t4,      t5

Subtract 6-4 = 2
Subtract t5 - t1 = 4
divide 2/4 = 1/2 the common difference is 1/2, we are adding 1/2 each time.
4,  4.5,   5,   5.5,  6
The second term is 4.5

Which of the following statements is false for an F distribution? a. Degrees of freedom for the numerator can be smaller than
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

A. True

B. True

C. True

D. False

Step-by-step explanation:

Option D is the only clear option that is false.

The S distribution is a statistical tool used to check the homogeneity of two independent estimates when studying population variance.

When using an F distribution, The ratio of the degree of freedom of the numerator to the denominator can be >1, = 1 or < 1.

This implies that degrees of freedom for the denominator can be smaller than the degrees of freedom for the numerator.

This makes option D false and hence the correct answer

You can find the area of the rectangle and the triangle separately and then add them together which would result in 330in. I personally do not think you should use the trapezoid formula even though they said it is a trapezoid (a trapezoid is usually not shaped like that) but if you want to it would result in 270in.

Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 4 cm, BC = 7 cm, angle A = angle C = 105 degree
Lelu [443]

Answer: see attachment

Step-by-step explanation:

Since A = C = 105° and D = 60°,

then A + B + C + D = 360°

     105° + B + 105° + 60° = 260°

               B + 270° = 360°

                          B = 90°
