My family is from Italy and that was all my grandparents knew, but when they were having my mother, they wanted her to have a different life, where she could be what she wanted to be. So they came to America and opened an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. While running the restaurant my grandfather also had two other jobs to bring in enough money to have somewhere to live and food to eat.
