how did wartime pressures create a break from the past

Before the world wars, Men were usually engaged in tedious work or delicate occupation that require effort or climbing while their wives stay at home to take care of the kids. The women bake cakes ,prepare meals, train the kids in home chores and other domestic activities

Then the war time came. Men were recruited to fight during the wars. Some men loss their lives which created a shift in certain jobs in the society. Women had to put on clothes that are traditionally formen. They had to pick up jobs like Plumbing, Auto mechanics, Black smith etc to feed the family.

If an object has a lot of inertia, how does this affect how easy it is to move that object?
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Motion of an object with lot of inertia:

All objects are immune to changes in orientation. This phenomenon is evident in all objects-inertia is present.

Inertia and mass are the major factors.

But are any objects more likely than others to avoid changes? Definitely yes!

There are various masses in the propensity of an object to avoid shifts in its movement. Weight is the quantity that depends only on an object's inertia. The more momentum an object possesses the more mass it has. A bigger body is more likely to stand up to changes in its movement.

Suppose on the physics demonstration bench, there seem to be two matching bricks. Nevertheless, one brick is made of concrete and the other brick is made of steel mould.

How can you say the brick had been the Styrofoam brick by raising the bricks? You should give the bricks the same push to change their movement. Brick with the least strength-and therefore brick with the least weight–is the brick that provides the easiest path.

What political and economic challenges did the leading democracies face in the 1920s and 1930s?
zubka84 [21]
Leading European democracies in addition to the US were challenged by crippled economies and devastated landscapes from World War I. Governments were wanting a return to more isolation and policies which favored their own countries. In the case of Germany, they were struggling to reestablish nationalism and were unable to defend themselves as a country. As a result many people in those countries turned to alternate forms of economy and government to create solid nations once again. All countries saw a rise in socialist thinking and some countries began to move toward socialist ideology. In others especially, Italy and Germany a move toward fascism took place which put nationalism at the forefront and a build up of capitalism to secure their economic place in the world.
