It is an anecdote to illustrate the circumstances under which Utopians go to war. Utopians is known for their love of peace and a great example of an ideal nation and thus hate war and in all their might try to avoid one except if threaten by a pressing force. They go to war to defend their country, their friends or to liberate people under harsh rule. The Utopians we're also known of their cunning in war like they used propaganda and hired mercenaries to fight for them before committing their own citizen to war. The Utopians also used conscription if their country is invaded but if not it is they will not forced their citizens to fight. They also disapproved of massacres.
