You should use a combination of ice and heat the first 24 hours after the injury occurs. True or False??
Troyanec [42]

There is a problem with this thinking.

Ice works well by itself, for it cools down the area that it is in contact with (such as a first -degree burn).

Heat in high temperature is used to disinfect the wounds, and material used to treat the wound.

However, using the two together is quiet frankly not reasonable. The ice would melt in high temperatures, negating it's usefulness.

Describe the three different muscles types in the body.
maw [93]

Answer:

The three different muscle types in the body are: cardiac, skeletal and smooth muscles.

Explanation:

In human body, muscles are major parts that give the appropriate shape. The three different muscle types in the body are: cardiac, skeletal and smooth muscles.

Cardiac muscle is located in the heart, and controls the response of the heart to signals. It contracts on receiving a signal and then relaxes, thus making the heart to beat and function appropriately.

Skeletal muscles are the muscles attached to bones which are used majorly for the movement of bones. They contracts and relax to achieve required movement.

Smooth muscles are found in the various tissues which make up the body. They are in charge of various actions e.g involuntary actions, expansion and contraction of urinary bladder etc.
