1) Light: Light is the basic need of plant. With the help of light, photosynthesis occurs.

2)Water: Water is used by the plants as a reactant in making their own food.

3) Temperature: In optimum temperature, plants grow fast.

4) Time: There is proper time for the sowing of every plant.

5) Nutrients: Nutrients are food of plants which are used for their growth and development.

6) Proper place or medium: Plants require a soft nutritious soil for germination.

7) Air: Plants need air because it contains oxygen and carbondioxide which is used by the plants during photosynthesis and respiration.
