Adjectives can modify nouns while adverbs can modify adjectives, verbs, adverbs and sentences. Adjectives and adverbs always match in number with what they are modifying (adverbs match in number with the adjectives, the verbs, the adverbs and the sentences they modify and adjectives match in number with the nouns they modify).

Answer:

when the subject is masculine then the adjective ends with an "o". If the subject is feminine the adjective is an "a". Also if the subject or noun is plural then the adjective also has to be plural for both feminine and masculine nouns. Adjectives are words that add information about nouns.  Adjectives need to agree in gender and number with the noun they modify.

1. Juanito va al hospital con su abuela. Cuando llega, se siente un poco nervioso.

2. La abuela de Juanito habla con la enfermera. Juanito espera a la enfermera sin sentirse nervioso, pero ahora se siente mal.

3. La enfermera anota los datos de Juanito. Ella lo mide y lo pesa mientras la abuela espera sentada.

4. El médico llega y examina los pulmones de Juanito. Juanito está tranquilo, no tiene miedo.

5. La enfermera le da la medicina a Juanito. Aunque el no quiere tomarla, el sabe que es necesaria.

6. Juanito sale del hospital. El se siente bien.
