Remark

When ever you are asked a question like this one, the simplest answer is to find the rounded upper limit. Then go one number lower.Those are the two limits.

Solution

Use your calculator to get the exact answer. √7 = 2.64 roughly. Round up to get your first limit, even if it is closer to the lower limit. You always round up for the upper limit.

So far what you have is √7 < 3 Now subtract 1 from the 3.

2 < √7 < 3 Answer

The square root of 7 would like between 2 and 3. This is because 2 x 2 is 4's square root and 3 x 3 is nine's square root. Seven is between four and nine.

Point J has coordinates (–3, 4) in the coordinate plane. Point K has coordinates (3, 4). Both points will be reflected across th
kumpel [21]

The location of the image of points J and K following a reflection across the x-axis are;

 • J'(-3, -4), and K'(3, -4)

Which method can be used to find the image of a point following a reflection?

Coordinates of point are;

J(-3, 4), K(3, 4)

The given transformation is; A reflection across the x-axis

The representation of a reflection across the x-axis is presented as follows;

 • (x, y) → (x, -y)

The image of J and K following a transformation across the x-axis are therefore;

 • J(-3, 4) → J'(-3, -4)

 • K(3, 4) → K'(3, -4)
