Describe Peasant life in 15th century russia

History
1 answer:

Similar to any other place in Europe, Russia experienced a feudal system in the 15th century. This affected peasants the most - they worked on farms which belonged to their vassals and they were paid a certain amount for their work. They weren't really allowed to abandon their 'master' for a period longer than a week. This may resemble slavery a bit, and it is not a whole lot different than it.
