Answer:

The correct answer is B. Free Soilers came to Kansas in the 1800s to ensure that Kansas voted to become a free state. They clashed against the Border Ruffians in the process known as Bleeding Kansas.

Bleeding Kansas was a conflict consisting of a series of violent civil confrontations in Kansas and Missouri between 1854 and 1861. The conflict was about whether the Kansas area would be joined to the United States as a state with or without slavery, and the fighting took place between slavery supporters (known as Border Ruffians, often from the slave state of Missouri) and their opponents (the Free-Staters). The battles were characterized by cheating, raids, attacks and revenge killings. The conflict ended with Kansas joining the United States as a free state on January 29, 1861, but the battles between supporters and opponents of slavery in Kansas continued in the Civil War.

D. People with asthma or other respiratory illnesses.

This is correct because people with these issues struggle a bit more with their immune systems more than others. Their lungs and other respiratory organs can become irritated faster than those of non-asthmatic people and such in that area.

What were some of the factors that led to exodus of Africa-America from the south to the north
iren [92.7K]

After the slavery was officially abolished in all of the US, the African Americans were quick to move out of the South and migrate massively toward the North. There were several factors as to why this happened. One big factor was that even though the slavery was abolished, the segregation and discrimination continued, so the opportunities in life were very limited. The South was not industrialized, while the North was heavily industrialized, thus the African Americans saw an opportunity to work in the factories instead in the fields. The atmosphere in the North was much better for them, as the majority of the people welcomed them and had no problems with them because of their skin color.
