Remeber that the research question is the center of a research project, it is fundamental as it focuses the study, determines the methodology and guides all the stages of the process. Here are some characteristics of a good research question, it has to be feasible, significant, clear and ethical.

In this case the political lens of history gives you a clue of the temes you can address, it needs relate the Irish immigrant experience to the government or public affairs of the United States.

A possible research question would then be:

How did the political ideas brought by the Irish immigrants affected the U.S. society in the early 20th century?

Should the government make key decisions about your life or should individuals get to make all the decisions for themselves?
aev [14]
The government already has to much power. Meaning that they are overruling and so what I think is that individuals should make all their own decisions. I feel strongly that we are responsible for the decisions we make. I think other people can also agree that we would very much like to control our own lives and live it to the fullest other than being controlled by the government. Our gov. system is already corrupted as it is and very secretive. So I believe that they shouldn’t be taking part in our personal lives.
