Read the passage from how should one read a book?

English

Answer:

Criticize

Explanation:

The author at first talks about what is being attempted, only to criticize in an almost poetic way right after. He says that even though those 32 chapters are meant to build a foundation, it means that by just filling something with words, in the end, you might create something too big and too filled to be easily enjoyed since reading is a complicated process, it's not just looking at something. The comparison is that if you see a castle and its many bricks, it's much easier to appreciate since you just have to look at the castle. But 32 chapters of words are meant to be read, which is an effort on its own.

In what way is the confrontation between tybalt and Romeo in Act 3 chiefly IRONIC?
nirvana33 [79]

Answer:

I think that you would expect Romeo to fight.  But, now that he is married and a "man" he wants to attempt to restore peace instead of fight.  Tybalt gives a verbal attack on Romeo.  Romeo does not want to fight him.  Romeo throws himself between the two that are fighting in order to make them chill and do the "right thing".  Romeo is now very angry that Mercutio dies.  He thinks it should be him in Mercutio's place.  Tybalt comes back into the picture and Romeo draws his sword to fight.  Romeo kills Tybalt.  Romeo has to now RUN.  Now he is the "fool".  Even though Romeo was trying to get everyone to keep the peace - Lady Capulet - Juliet's mom, Tybalt's aunt...wants Romeo's life in place of Tybalt's life.  Romeo is then exiled and if he is found he will be killed.  Well, you know the ending - he dies anyways.  Was his death in vain; was it because he took another life? Was it his love for Juliet?  Was he depressed and realized he could never have a good life with his LOVE forever and ever....

Explanation:

Remember that the word ironic is something that is happening in the opposite way in which you expected it to happen.
