Answer:

c) passionate observer

Explanation:

John Muir was a great nature lover, or to be more precise, he was a naturalist. That simply means he believed that all of the nature is connected, including human, and that all of nature's beauties and laws need to be respected and preserved.

This point of view is best seen in his essays where he writes about his journeys into the wilderness. Reading them, we are introduced to deep feelings of admiration and respect Muir had for nature.

He used well chosen words and rich descriptions in attempt to awake similar feelings in the reader.

Maybe the best example of this is his description and fasvination with the flower, Calypso Borealis, which mesmerized him.

Muir encourages us not to change, destroy or tame the nature, but to explore and enjoy it as mere observers.

MAVERICK [17]

Answer and Explanation:

The part of the sentence that includes a subject is "earn a great deal of money", as it shows that the sentence will talk about money and ways to earn it.

The part of the sentence that tells what happened to the guy is "the past 50 years cost more than expected," because it shows that host cities spent a lot of money even though they won large amounts of money from the Olympics. We can see this, because the subject of the sentence is "host cities".

The part of the sentence that says something positive about the games is "host cities earn a great deal of money," as it shows that there is an economic gain for the cities that host these games.
