After being diagnosed she gets locked in the yellow wallpaper room, and she stares at it so little by little she loses the little mental sanity she had left at the end she ripped the paper from the wall, claiming that a woman was trapped there and was struggling to get out, she uses vivid and violent imagery to talk about the wallpaper.
