Polytheistic, patriarchal, monarchy are the things that were common in Mesopotamian and Egyptian Civilizations. Polytheistic refers to believing in many Gods. Patriarchal refers to the society who controlled by men and monarchy refers to ruling of one king on the entire kingdom. so both Mesopotamian and Egyptian Civilizations have many gods, society of men and ruled by king.
