What is the difference between Poetry and Prose?

Poetry consists of lines and stanza's while prose consists of sentences and paragraphs. prose is much similar to everyday speech while most of the time poetry is not

I'd say the correct answer is B, because 'in the desert is part of the subject/noun 'canyon', and modifies it, that is, refers to it, describes it in more detail.
