Explanation:

People over the age of 65 are using three-quarters of their time on social media for reading postings rather than posting about themselves. Since most of their feeds consist of material posted by their relatives it is logical to assume that what they are using social media for is mostly to read about the activities and other posts that are made by other members of their families.  In one survey, one expert  Doctor David Tuffley has said that even among those over 75 years of age, 75 % use social media now and it aids in their ability to keep in touch with family and friends.
