Answer:

Expressed powers are those explicitly named in the Constitution. They are called designated powers or counted forces. Since the Framers imagined the Congress as the most dominant branch, its forces are most obviously shown in Article I, Section 8

Implied powers will be forces of U.S. government which have not been expressly conceded by the Constitution but rather that is suggested by the essential and appropriate statement to be appointed to carry out the specified forces.

Inherent forces are those forces that Congress and the president require so as to take care of business right. In spite of the fact that not indicated in the Constitution, they are sensible forces that are an intelligent piece of the forces assigned to Congress and the president.

Len [333]

The correct answer is During a time of war.

The Schenck vs. United States Supreme Court case deals with the issue of freedom of speech during the World War I era. In this case, Schenck was using his freedom of speech to convince people to avoid the military draft that was taking place in the United States. The Supreme Court ruled that this is not protected free speech, as this speech presented a clear and present danger to American society, especially since this was done during World War I.

Executive and legislative power are divided between different offices in the system
weeeeeb [17]
What you are describing is the system of checks and balances.

In the United States there is a system of checks and balances. In our federal government, we have three different branches including the executive, legislative, and judicial. In our system, the executive branch consists of the president while the legislative branch consists of the Senate and House of Representatives. These different branches all have the ability to check the other branches. This ensures that no one branch or individual will gain too much power.
