In a study, researchers use a photograph taken in a public park to examine how people perceive, learn, and remember information.

In the photograph, a woman is standing near a man who is seated on a park bench. The woman appears to be shouting at the
man.

Participants in the study are exposed to the photograph for ten seconds and then are

shown, each for ten seconds, several other photographs of people interacting. When

all the photographs have been shown, the participants are taken into a different room

and asked about what they saw in the “public park” photograph. A significant number

of participants describe the man as being the aggressor in an apparent disagreement

with the woman.

Describe how each of the following concepts helps explain the perception of these

participants. Be sure to begin by defining each concept in psychological terms.

The diagram shows the length and width of a cell phone, and the length of a larger
Volgvan

Answer:

The width of the bigger phone is 2.99 in

Explanation:

Given

W_1 = 2.6in

L_1 = 5.4in

L_2 = 6.21in

See attachment for the measure of cell phones

Required

Determine the width of the bigger version (L2)

To do this, we make use of the following equivalent ratios.

L_1 : W_1 = L_2 : W_2

This gives:

5.4\ in : 2.6\ in  : 6.21\ in : W_2

Express as fractions

\frac{5.4\ in}{2.6\ in} = \frac{6.21\ in}{W_2}

\frac{5.4}{2.6} = \frac{6.21\ in}{W_2}

Make W2 the subject

W_2 = \frac{6.21 * 2.6\ in}{5.4}

W_2 = \frac{16.146\ in}{5.4}

W_2 = 2.99\ in

When sam goes to a restaurant he always tips the server $2 plus 10% of the cost of the meal is sams distribution of meal costs h
gayaneshka [121]
Given tip, T = $2.00 + (0.1 X C)
where C = cost of meal
Mean of cost of meals, M = $9.00
Standard deviation of meal, Sm = $3.00
If C = M,
Mean of tips Mt = $2.00 + (0.1 X $9.00)
Mt = $2.90, mean of tips
Standard deviation of tips, St = square root of mean of tips
St = ($2.90)^0.5
St = $1.70, standard deviation of tips

Therefore, mean of tips = $2.90 and standard deviation of tips = $1.70
