Answer: Deoxyribonucleic acid.

Explanation:

The bacterial genome is usually composed of single molecule of chromosomal DNA.

This is located in the cytoplasmic region inside the bacterial cell. When the bacterial cell is viewed inside the microscope then this structure is known as nucleiod.

Bacterial DNA is not enclosed in the nucleus rather it is dissolved in the cytoplasm.

How does the structure of a nephron directly relate to function of the kidney
VLD [36.1K]
Nephrons are the filtering structures of the kidneys. The kidneys contain millions and millions of these tiny filtering structures that are responsible for cleaning the blood. Nephrons are responsible for removing excess water, wastes, and other substances in the blood that are not needed by the body. They also return necessary substances (e.g. sodium, potassium, phosphorus) whenever the body runs low in supply.

If these nephrons are damaged, blood will not be properly filtered. As a result, the kidney will have different diseases and this might lead to kidney and multiple organ failure.

Density is mass per unit of volume. Which pair of lab instruments would a student use to measure the density of seawater?
9966 [12]

Answer: C. a balance and a beaker

Explanation:

A balance would be used to measure the weight, which in turn effectively measures the mass (more or less). Imagine that we have a brick that we know is 1 pound. If we have an object that needs 5 bricks on one side to balance it out, then we know the object is 5 pounds.

The beaker is used to measure the volume. It's basically a measuring cup that you would find in the kitchen.

To get the density, you divide the mass over volume.

For example, if you have a material that has a mass of 100 grams and it's volume is 20 cm^3, then its density is 100/20 = 5 grams per cm^3.
