Answer: During chapter 2 of the story which is " From the Blackbird Pond" is a hardworking and an achieving kid. In the chapter it says that "John is the son of a tanner who once dreamed of going to Harvard. He worked in the day and studied Latin at night, but couldn’t save enough money for tuition. He is travelling to Wethersfield now, though, to study with Reverend Bulkeley, a “very famous scholar, in medicine as well as theology” (2.18). He doesn't have a lot of time to talk to kit. If you compare Kit to John they have too completely different personalities.
When Erica has reached the
falling action of the story, the conflict is slowly resolved. Falling action
comes after the conflict after the main problem has been solved and nears the
end of the story. It gives us the satisfaction that we have been rooting for.
