Answer:

D) Cassius must decide whether or not to send his best friend into the camp.

Explanation:

After Pindarus approaches Cassius and Titinius to tell them that Antony is invading the tents and tries to persuade Cassius to escape, they realize there is a fire in the tents. So, Cassius decides to send Titinius to check out if the troops are allies or enemies.

The moral dilemma expressed in this excerpt is that if Titinius dies in the mission, Cassius will be responsible for it, and will have to live knowing that his best friend died because of him.

Fair youth, beneath the trees, thou canst not leave Thy song, nor ever can those trees be bare; Bold Lover, never, never canst t
Westkost [7]

After reading the passage from the poem "Ode on a Grecian Urn," we can answer the questions about topic and theme in the following manner:

 1. The topic of the passage is the illustration painted on an urn. It shows pipers, a tree, and a man and a woman who seem to be in love.
 2. What Keats says about them is that the tree will never lose its leaves, and the song played by the pipers will never cease. When it comes to the couple, he says the man should not be said that he will never kiss the woman (since the image cannot move). Instead, he should be happy that their love will continue and she will remain young and beautiful.
 3. With that, the theme expressed in the passage is one of timelessness, the eternity of art.

What is the poem about?

 • The famous poem "Ode on a Grecian Urn," by John Keats, is inspired by the beauty of Greek art to discuss themes such as mortality and timelessness. The speaker describes and address the figures he sees painted on an urn.
 • The poem focuses on the fact that those images on the urn will remain forever. Unlike us, they will never grow old and die. Their beauty, youth, love, and song will go on till the end of times.

What does proctor death show the rest of the Salem?
Jet001 [13]

John Proctor was the first man to be accused of witchcraft. He was defending his wife and had previously expressed himself against the proceedings and trials of the women of Salem who were being accused of witchcraft. He was arrested and condemned to death.

Proctor was given the option to confess and initially agreed, but in the end preferred to die. He realized that he could not sign an untrue confession with his name. Rather than losing what was left of his reputation and integrity, he decided to be executed in the gallows.

Eventually, the truth came out, the accusations retired and the families were compensated. Salem learned the value of integrity and innocence, even when the verdict is implacable.

Central ideas are the most _____ ideas in a text.
siniylev [52]

Central ideas are the most IMPORTANT ideas in a text.

They are the central, unifying and definite themes or ideas of an article or story. They cover all the aspects that are needed in order to create a main idea that is coherent. Without a central idea the text would not be coherent as it could addres different topics that have nothing in common, making it senseless. In an essay the central ideas are supported by the arguments, for example a central idea could be: Bees are important for our planet. In that case supporting ideas can be: They pollinate flowers. They make honey.

As you can see they are the spine and base of the text.
