1. ways the Canadian military was taken serious in World War I?
kogti [31]

Explanation:

The military history of Canada during World War I began on August 4, 1914, when the United Kingdom entered the First World War (1914–1918) by declaring war on Germany. The British declaration of war automatically brought Canada into the war, because of Canada's legal status as a British Dominion which left foreign policy decisions in the hands of the British parliament.[1] However, the Canadian government had the freedom to determine the country's level of involvement in the war.[1][2] On August 4, 1914, the Governor General declared a war between Canada and Germany. The Militia was not mobilized and instead an independent Canadian Expeditionary Force was raised

How did the Catholic Church respond to the Scientific Revolution?
g100num [7]
The answer is A. The churches were against Science because it started to restrict the power they had. People began to realize that it was ok to ask why instead of just saying that's the way God wanted something. This resulted in a decrease in church attendance and the support and influence the church had recently attained within the government. They did their best to discredit scientists and philosophical thinkers. <span />

In four or more complete sentences, explain how Australia’s geography has influenced the country’s culture, particularly its fol
KatRina [158]

If we imagine a giant island, full of different ecosystems, reliefs, hydrographies, climates, we imagine that in every region of that country, perhaps the only cultural element that all Australians have in common is the language (we do not english variations of small villages, former aborigene towns). Each geography, vegetation, climate, directly influences people's way of life, in a concept of adaptation. Art, music often, and in that particular setting, in Australian folk music, is considered a music that portrays a more peaceful Australian lifestyle. Letters related to feelings, elements of nature, with the sensations of what they saw and felt of nature around them. We are talking about a country with a diverse geography. If we talk about climate, we can see two clear examples: The climate of Sydney's tropical summer heat, and the cold snowy climate in Falls creek. The way of life and the vision of events influence when it comes to composing a song, or what kind of instrument can be used, depending on each subculture of that country.
