The answer is:  However, formal written laws did not exist until the Roman Empire created the Twelve Tables law code around 450 BC

Critique is made as a counter point for the intial statement. The intial statement that neolithic period restrict individual freedoms. But the individual freedoms are only limited through the creation of law around 450 BC.  Neoltihic period on the other hand started around 10,000 BC.

b.) The diverse geography of the colonies encouraged different economic pursuits.

The British colonies contained diverse geography from rocky coast line, forests, hot and humid areas, swamp lands, and good soiled farm land.

The diversity of geography created differing economies for the Thirteen Colonies. New England focused on shipbuilding, lumber, fishing, whaling, manufacturing, trade, and small farming. The Middle Colonies were best for farming for food production. These colonies established farms for what, rye, corn, vegetable, and animal farming. The Southern Colonies were the harshest of environments being hot and humid with swampy land. However, the geography proved perfect for tobacco, rice, sugar, and eventually cotton. The Southern Colonies focused on plantation farming of cash crops and would demand large amounts of labor. The need for labor would be filled by a system of slavery.

What was the difference between an indentured servant and a slavw
Alex787 [66]
An indentured servant was someone who would pay for his journey to the US or for his debt by serving the person who helped him and after a while the debt would be over and the person would be free. The person would have all rights like regular people. Slaves had no rights at all and were not even observed as people and their slavery would never end unless the owner specifically freed them. Slavery was not contractual unlike indentured serviture.

How does the omaha platform identify the main threats to american liberty?
AnnZ [28]

Although historians often speak of a “Populist movement” in the 1880s, it wasn't until 1892 that the People's or Populist Party was formally organized. The Omaha Platform, adopted by the founding convention of the party on July 4, 1892, set out the basic tenets of the Populist movement.
