Answer:

The breaking down of rocks gives rise to the formation of sediments. These materials are transported from one place to another by agents such as wind, water, and ice. The wind carries smaller or finer particles. The water can carry finer to coarser type of materials and ice also carries sediments that are generally coarser in size.

These sediments are generally deposited in the environment such as the deltaic environment, marine and lake environment.

These sediments after getting deposited at a particular place, they are compacted and lithified, and thereby forms a sedimentary rock, which is commonly known as the clastic-sedimentary rocks. These are formed by mechanical processes.

Answer:

Shale, limestone, sandstone  and conglomerates.

Explanation:

  • The prepositional or the sedimentary environment descries the combination of the physical and the chemical and the biological processes and is linked with the deposition of the particular type of the sediment such as the wind, ice or gravity, and these are formed after the lithification process.
  • And the sediment gets trapped in the rocks and becomes recorded. In the lakes type of environments, the bodies are usually still and the basin is surrounded by lands. In the glaciers, the deposition of the till that is angular to rounded and poorly stratified plain and the outwash plains are formed by the ripple marks and the cross-beds.
  • Others like the tidal process due to the currents create a tidal flats and commonly deposited sediments are the silt and the clay.

The northeast and the Great Lakes regions have a natural environment that is favorable to dairy farming. This is the
NNADVOKAT [17]
This statement is true.
The northeast and the Great Lakes regions have a natural habitat suitable for dairy farming. The climate, the precipitation, the grasslands, the water, all make a nice environment for dairy farming. But dairy farming is also making a problem because it causes eutrophication of the water and rise in algae population, thus reducing the oxygen in the water and killing of the fish, so a measures have to be taken so that process stops.

1. What animals dominated the Mesozoic Era?
mylen [45]
The answers are:

A. dinosaurs
- Dinosaurs were the dominant life form during the Mesozoic Era, they came in in all shapes and sizes, from little chicken-sized raptors to giant herbivorous creatures. In general, they were split into two groups, which roughly corresponds with the way of movement, bipedal or fourlegged.
B. birds
- The Archaeopteryx was the so-called missing link in the bird's evolution, once this creature was discovered the things became much clearer. It is a perfect creature that is like a crossbreed of a little raptor and a bird.
B. a meteorite collision
- Around 65 million years ago a big meteorite hit the Earth, right of the eastern coast of Mexico, near Yucatan, and it managed to release an enormous amount of force and also trigger much of the volcanoes that caused a global climate change in just a few days that exterminated the dinosaurs.
