What two digestive processes occur in the small intestine
LuckyWell [14K]

Two digestive processes occur in the small intestine are:

1. Chemical digestion

Digestive enzymes from the pancreas and liver are secreted in the small intestine via the pancreatic duct. Also, bicarbonates are secreted from the pancreas into small intestine (duodenum) in order to neutralize acid coming from the stomach.

Molecules digested in small intestine are proteinsinto small peptides and amino acids  (by trypsin, chymotrypsin, aminopeptidase and dipeptidase enzymes), lipids into fatty acids and glycerol (by pancreatic lipase and bile from the liver) and some carbohydrates  into simple sugars (by pancreatic amylase enzyme).

2. Absorption

The food previously digested can pass into the blood vessels (be absorbed)  through either diffusion or active transport.

Which is having to have an extended abdomen which a child who is malnutritioned usually has, listless- in which the child has no energy because he or she lacks nutrients in the body, small for her age is one of the signs of malnutrition because in order for her to be in the right height for age—she must have an adequate nutrition to attain this.

The smallest cell structure that would most likely be visible with a standard (not super-resolution) research-grade light micros
Olegator [25]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

This is a double membrane organelle of   0.5- 1 to 1 micrometer in diameter; and 7 micrometre in length.

Since the resolution of light ,microscope is less than 200nm; only the mitochondrion  can be seen with this microscope.

The mitochondrial functions a s the power house of the cell. for generation of ATPs

Howevrer the parts of other options are closer  than 200nm in diameter and are ; therefore are not visible to this microscope.
