What causes the cyclical changes in the appearance of the moon?

Geography
1 answer:
Varvara68 [4.7K]3 years ago

The changes in the phases of the Moon are caused by its position towards the Sun, not as it is commonly thought that it is because of the Earth's shadow on it.

What we see from the Moon, the bright part and the almost invisible dark part (looking with bear eyes of course), is only dependent on how the Moon is positioned towards the Sun. The part that is bright is the part that faces the Sun, while the part that is dark is the part that is on the opposite side, thus not facing the Sun.

Depending on the Moon's position towards the Earth as well, we can sometimes see it as partially bright, as half bright, full bright, and everything in between, and that depends on how the Moon is positioned towards the Earth.

What percentage of the population is Kurdish and where are Kurds found in the region
HACTEHA [7]
Middle East

Kurds or Kurdish group is an ethnic group found in the Middle East somewhere within Turkey, Iran and Syria

Ethnic separatism can be defined as the desire by a group of people to form their own country based upon certain common features. This separatism can be based on several common factors such as religion, governmental, gender or racial. It is nothing but the urge to have greater autonomy regarding every sphere of life. Some critics may be of the opinion that such separatism is not good for the people but it is true that governmental oppression has led several communities to go for ethnic separation.
