Byzantine and China are two well-known empires. The difference is, Byzantine Empire no longer exists while China still continues to exist. Byzantine is located in Europe while China is located in Asia. In terms of religion, the two are also different. Byzantine practised Christianity while China practised Buddhism. In similarity, Byzantine and China both used to have emperors as their supreme leaders and both empires were also known to be very powerful and influential at their times.
