Population of a species is affected by a several of factors such as food availability,water and shelter etc.
Explanation:
If these factors such as food availability, water and shelter etc are unavailable to the organism, the death of the species occurs but if these factors are available in sufficient amount, then increase occurs in the population of species. If the place has low carrying capacity and limiting factors which is necessary for species then the immigration and emigration of the specie occurs. Those areas having sufficient food, water and shelter, the birth rate of a specie increases and which leads to increase in population.
