I would have to say either A.
The reason I would choose A is because he is obviously willing to show his skin, without showing fear. It is bravery at its fullest.

From the excerpt given above, it can be seen that Gawain had been ordered to behead the Green Knight. The Green Knight, without any form of delay, presented himself for the execution. He bent his head and moved all his hair to the front of his head leaving his neck bare for the executioner's ax. This act is a gallant show of bravery in the face of danger by the Green Knight.
