How do Madonna, Olivia Newton-John, the Go-God, and Cyndi Lauper all represent differing versions of femininity?

History

Answer:

Each of them is a modern woman, but each of them has  her own character , personality and their public images reflect  that.

Madonna is a strong, ambitious and  talented person who will give her best to be the best, the queen. She´s feminine but at the same time she´s powerful, domineering even. She has never shown herself as weak or traditional; on the contrary, she loves to break conventions.

Regarding Olivia Newton-John, we will always associate her with her role in Grease, a cute, mild and soft girl, but who can transform herself into an outgoing and self-confident woman , showing two sides of the same person.

Cindy Lauper is like a crazy rebel, unconventional, shocking and charming at the same time. Her image is best reflected in her video of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
