Cien años de soledad se publicó en el año 1967. It's a novel by Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, probably his most famous novel which was famous not only in Colombia but worldwide. It tells the story of the Buendía family living in the fictional town of Macondo throughout seven generations. His style is considered to belong to magic realism, which was a very strong literary movement in Latin-America in those years.
