One of the major themes in the book Restart by Gordon Korman is change.

Restart is a novel written by Gordon Korman in 2017. The book tells the story of Chase Ambrose, a popular star of the school's football team. Most students fear him, especially Joel Weber, because Ambrose behaves like a bully. After he falls off the roof of his house, his whole life changes since he loses his memory. Furthermore, not only his life changes, but also his personality. After the accident, Chase begins to understand how bad he behaved in the past. Therefore, the accident means a new opportunity to rebuild himself and to correct the mistakes he did in the past. The message that the book intends to transmit is that a person can change.
