my experience in developing these habits and how I will stay connected to them are by using them in my daily life. getting used to communicating in the spanish language. practice by talking with my family and friends in spanish. I will get used to talking to them in spanish and then before I know it I will be talking in spanish without knowing. the language if spanish has a culture behind it. one that us very unique and amazing! my culture is that on Cinco de mayo we dress up and have a blast dancing around. we make carne asada on holidays. we open Christmas presents at midnight. these cultures represent who we are and how it is that we choose to do with it.
I did a little bit of research and that one seems like the most appropiate answer. It is only 2 hours and 8 minutes (about 90 miles) from Guayaquil which matches the "not so far, but not so close" description.
