Bad White [126]
Using formal language both in oral and written form is an advantage for you. You will be noticed by people and they will remember you more because your language stands out from the language use of others.

Using formal language infers that you are a well-educated and well-round person. People will likely believe in what you say because it will give credence to you and your abilities.

However, when you use formal language with people who are not as well verse to its usage, you will face discrimination or ill-will because they will feel insecure and intimidated by you.

In developing the "science" of eugenics, how did Francis Galton draw upon the discoveries of Charles Darwin and Gregor Mendel?
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Answer:

He applied the concept of natural selection to humans, through the transmission of genetic characteristics transmitted from parents to children.

Explanation:

Francis Galton created the Eugenia concept, by integrating Medel's genetic discoveries, the theory of natural selection. That's because, eugenics states that there are races among human beings. These breeds are considered superior when they receive genes that trigger characteristics that allow the members of these breeds to prevail within the environment in which they live.

. What kind of celebrations are typical in ASL/Deaf culture? Do some research and explain several examples of celebrations commo
Kazeer [188]

Answer and Explanation:

After a quick survey, I realized that it is common for ASL / deaf culture to hold celebrations focused on art and literature, although this changes from region to region. I could see that it is common to create celebrations around events that broadcast films, that promote joint literature and that celebrate the day of awareness of the deaf.

There was a similar event in my city, which promoted a popular type of cinema for low-income communities. This event aimed to celebrate national art and cinema, as well as how to democratize access to cinema.
