The correct answer is that jury deliberated so long.

Atticus lost the trial but he actually helped move the town to the road of racial equality. In cases where a black man was accused of violating a white women there was almost no deliberation at all.The victory here was that Atticus managed to make the jurors actually try to do the right thing and acquit Tom because he was innocent. One juror in particular held out long and that was Cunningham.

Rainbow [258]

Answer:

Claudius tells Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to find Hamlet and to bring Polonius's  body to the <u><em>chapel</em></u>.

Explanation:

William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" revolves around a young prince and his desire to avenge the death of his father, the king. The story deals with themes of loyalty, love, gender, appearance vs. reality, power, etc.

In Act III, Hamlet had killed Polonius thinking he was Claudius. Act IV scene i shows Queen Gertrude informing her new husband King Claudius about the murder. And so, King Claudius orders Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to <em>"[g]o seek [Hamlet] out; speak fair, and bring the body Into the chapel."</em>

Thus, the correct answer for the blank is "chapel".

Which states the rhetorical appeal that the passage
sesenic [268]

The correct answer is A. The passage appeals to logos.

Explanation:

The appeal to logos focuses on supporting the author's point of view by using reasoning. This occurs in the excerpt presented because the author of this text uses reasoning or logical arguments to explain how the Declaration of independence includes all men no matter their race, religion, etc. This can be seen in "It does not say some men, but it  says all men" that explain the author's main point, as well as,  logical reasons such as "does not say all Protestants, but it says all men, which  includes Catholics" because this argument is a conclusion that can be drawn using logic. This means the author relies on logic and reason, which makes this passage to use the appeal to logos.
