The resolution of a story refers to the unfolding or the solution of the main conflict. Most of the time, the resolution is presented in the final parts of a story, following the climax. In this case, the main conflict of the story is the fact that the wolf wants to eat the pigs. The climax occurs when the wolf, unable to blow down the third house, falls into the pot of boiling water. Therefore, the resolution is when the pigs no longer have to worry about the wolf and can live happily ever after.
